Meet Little Poppy!

She might be small, but she is mighty! 🤭 Poppy is searching for a quiet, tidy, adult-only home. Because of her herding instincts, she will chase and nip small children (and steal their toys!).

Poppy loves short walks, exploring the yard, and would highly approve of a doggy door. While she is still building up her bravery to ask for affection, she loves being near you and will happily tolerate bulk couch cuddles! 🛋️

She is currently on medication to help her feel brave, and she is making fantastic progress. Poppy loves her crate—it is her ultimate safe space. If visitors or grandkids pop over, she will happily snooze in her crate until the house is quiet again. She could live with another small dog, but she is also happy to be your one and only.

Medical: Poppy has a Grade 2 heart murmur. She has seen a cardiologist and currently, there is no concern with her heart. If the murmur is still present at her 12 month vaccination, the recommendation is to have another Echocardiogram performed at a year year old.
