About Dinah
Dinah is a beautiful one-year-old sweetheart looking for a patient and loving home where she can feel safe, secure, and truly belong.
When Dinah first arrived in care, she was extremely frightened. With time, gentle handling, and the support of her foster carer, she has made wonderful progress and is beginning to show her true personality. Beneath her initial nervousness is a gentle, affectionate girl who forms deep bonds with the people she trusts. Dinah loves to run and enjoys having a home with space to enjoy the outdoors at her leisure.
The world can still feel overwhelming for Dinah at times, so she is searching for a calm and understanding household that will allow her to settle at her own pace. A consistent routine, access to safe spaces, and plenty of patience will help her continue to build confidence. Dinah is currently taking medication to help manage her anxiety and may benefit from ongoing support from a behavioural veterinarian as she adjusts to her new home.
Due to her limited social skills, Dinah is best suited as the only pet in the household. She can be reactive to dogs and unfamiliar people when out on walks, often barking when she feels unsure or uncomfortable. Being the sole animal in the home will help her feel secure and reduce unnecessary stress.
Once Dinah feels safe, her loving nature truly shines. She adores her people, loves being close, and is happiest when snuggled up beside those she trusts. She is a loyal and devoted companion who will thrive with a family willing to give her the time, patience, and understanding she needs.
For the right home, Dinah will be an incredibly rewarding companion, offering endless affection and unwavering loyalty in return for kindness and care.
