About Atlas
🐾 Meet Atlas - Your Future Adventure Partner 🐾
Atlas is a bright, energetic young Kelpie ready to take on the world-and he's looking for someone to share it with.
True to his breed, Atlas is bursting with intelligence and enthusiasm. He's the kind of dog who needs both mental and physical stimulation to truly shine. Whether it's learning new tricks, tackling agility courses, playing fetch, or joining you on long hikes, Atlas thrives when he has a job to do and a purpose to fulfil.
This clever boy picks things up quickly, making him a fantastic candidate for further training and dog sports. He's eager to please and loves engaging with his people, especially when there's a challenge involved. Puzzle toys, advanced training, or even farm work would suit him perfectly.
Atlas would do best in an active home with someone who understands working breeds and is ready to invest time in his ongoing development. He's not just looking for a home-he's looking for a teammate.
With the right guidance and plenty of outlets for his energy, Atlas will reward you with unwavering loyalty, companionship, and endless fun.
Could you be the one to give Atlas the active, enriching life he craves? 🐕💙

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
