Elsie

Elsie came to us from the pound, after being dumped covered in mites with significant hair loss. She was still producing milk, but we don’t know what happened to her babies. Elsie has been quite traumatised, so she understandably hides in her tunnel most of the time. She is still terrified of being picked up, but has made lots of progress, and is starting to relax for cuddles once in your hands.

Elsie needs a calm environment, with gentle humans, to reach her full potential. She is a sweet piggy under that fear, and has the shiniest, healthy coat now. She gets along with everyone, living with 3 other pigs. If you don’t already have a piggy friend for her, she’d like to be adopted with Camellia (also listed).
