Lady’s story is one that breaks our hearts, but also reminds us why rescue matters so much. ❤️

We estimate Lady is around 8–9 years old, although we can’t be certain. What we do know is that she has spent her entire life surviving on the streets.

Over time, her health began to deteriorate. She was losing weight, becoming weaker, and facing another cold winter outside. We simply couldn’t stand by and watch this beautiful girl fade away.

Once safely in foster care, Lady quickly showed us what a lovely, friendly soul she truly is. With a warm bed, plenty of love, regular meals, and the medical care she desperately needed, she has made an incredible recovery.

After numerous veterinary tests, we discovered that Lady was suffering from calicivirus. Thankfully, with antiviral medication and the stability of indoor life, her condition has improved dramatically. Having food available whenever she needs it and a safe place to rest has allowed her to thrive.

Now, for the first time in her life, Lady is ready to find a forever home of her own.

To help make the transition easier, we are also offering a foster-to-adopt arrangement, giving you the opportunity to see how Lady fits into your home and lifestyle before making a permanent commitment.

Lady has spent years surviving. We would love for the rest of her life to be about living, loving, and being cherished.
