Muffin has made incredible progress through Halti training during her time at the shelter. This training has helped her focus and navigate encounters with other dogs, although she can sometimes become fixated initially. With the guidance of a confident handler, Muffin can move past her initial excitement and continue on her path. Muffin enjoys playtime with other dogs off-leash, showcasing her adaptable and friendly nature once properly introduced. It's important to note that although Muffin is not aggressive, she may struggle in high dog-traffic areas due to her excitement, so a quieter neighborhood would be ideal for her walks.

This spirited girl loves interacting with people and craves human companionship. She's made strides in her behavior but does experience stress and excitement in high-stimulus environments, so she will thrive best in a loving home where she is part of the family dynamic. Muffin is still mastering the art of leash manners and could use some patience and continued training to perfect her skills. Additionally, she is not yet house-trained, a task she'll improve at with consistency and guidance in a home setting.

Given her boisterous and exuberant nature, Muffin’s best fit would be with a family that has children aged 10 and older or younger, confident kids. She’s also open to cohabitating with a dog who shares a similar energy level and is friendly and tolerant. Muffin is eager to be part of a home where she can explore, play, and snuggle – all with a loving family by her side.
