About Squirrel
Meet Squirrel, an enthusiastic young dog with a big personality and an even bigger love for people!
Squirrel is still learning manners so he is looking for a home who is comfortable managing a big, bouncy, strong dog and has some patience for him while he is learning the rules. Squirrel can get anxious in new places, so he does need a home that can offer him lots of guidance and support while he learns about the world.
Squirrel can feel some anxiety when interacting with dogs so is looking to be the only dog in his new home. A secure yard is essential for Squirrel so he has a safe space to exercise, unwind, and feel comfortable in his environment while he learns how to enjoy the outside world and walk nicely on lead. In the right home, Squirrel will make a loyal, affectionate, and entertaining companion.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Burwood East site, adoption hours are 10am – 4pm. Walk-ins are welcome, and you can freely walk through our dog, cat and small animal adoption areas.
