About Hickory
Say Hi to Hickory!
Meet Hickory, an 8-month-old Staffy cross who appears to have some Lurcher heritage, judging by his gorgeous long legs and athletic build. This handsome young boy is searching for a loving home to call his own.
Hickory can be a little timid when faced with new environments and experiences, so he needs some time and patience to feel comfortable. Once he settles in, his true personality shines through—a sweet, affectionate, and playful companion who loves being close to his people.
Despite his young age, Hickory has shown he can happily settle spending his days relaxing in his bed while watching the world go by. Hickory is a cuddle monster who thinks he belongs on top of you not next to you and will happily invade any personal space you may have.
Although Hickory has shown himself to be social and would be best suited as the only dog in the home for now. He will need on going socialisation to help him continue to build confidence with other dogs as he grows.
We believe Hickory could live successfully with a cat, provided introductions are managed slowly and carefully.
Hickory is looking for a patient, understanding family who can help him see that the world isn't such a scary place and give him all the love, security, and cuddles he deserves.

Dogs and cats come microchipped, lifetime registration, desexed, vaccinated and with a 14 day health & trial period warranty (please note that SoCares reserves the right to conduct home and yard checks prior to adoption).
DOG ADOPTIONS: We like to make sure all dogs and their new family (human and four legged) are a suitable match so if you have other dog/s we always book a meet and greet at a time suitable for you to ensure they will get on.
