About Sam
🐾 Meet Sam - Your Perfect Couch Companion
Looking for a gentle soul to share your quiet days with? Meet Sam, a sweet senior Jack Russell who's ready to trade his busy past for a peaceful, loving retirement home.
🌟 About Sam
Sam is a golden oldie with a heart full of love and a calm, easygoing nature. While he may have once had that classic Jack Russell spark, these days he prefers the simple pleasures in life-soft blankets, sunny spots, and being close to his people.
🛋️ The Perfect Retirement Lifestyle
Sam is looking for a home where he can:
Nap happily on the couch (his favourite pastime!)
Enjoy short, gentle walks to stretch his legs and sniff around
Soak up attention and affection from his humans
Spend his days in a calm, relaxed environment
💛 Personality
Affectionate and loyal
Quiet and low-energy
Loves human companionship
Happy to lounge by your side all day
🏡 His Ideal Home
Sam would thrive in a home where:
Someone is around to keep him company
Life moves at a slower, peaceful pace
He's treated like part of the family (and maybe a little bit spoiled!)

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
