Meet Delta, the larger female of the litter and a puppy who approaches life with confidence, curiosity and a wagging tail.
At just 8 weeks old, Delta is ready to begin the next chapter of her journey with a family to call her own. A lovely blend of German Shepherd with a sprinkle of Rottweiler, she has all the makings of a loyal companion and devoted best friend.
Delta is a happy, outgoing puppy who enjoys exploring her surroundings, playing with her siblings and investigating anything new and exciting. She has a confident nature and is often one of the first to check out new toys, sounds and adventures. After a busy day of puppy fun, she's more than happy to settle down for some affection and a well-earned nap cuddled up to her sister Juliet.
With her intelligent eyes and eager-to-please attitude, Delta is already showing the qualities that make German Shepherd-type dogs such wonderful family companions. She will thrive in a home committed to training, socialisation and including her in everyday life.
As she grows, Delta is expected to mature into a medium to large-sized dog who will reward her family with loyalty, companionship and unconditional love. Whether it's joining you on walks, family outings or simply relaxing at home, Delta is ready to be part of it all.

We always recommend post-adoption training whether it be at home or with a professional. Training doesn’t have to be a chore – it can be a fun experience for you and puppy, it doesn’t have to take long and is a great way for you to bond with your new pal.
Delta is currently available for adoption in NSW, ACT, Queensland and Victoria. If you're interested in making him a cherished member of your family, you'll need to drive with your loved ones to meet her. Should she, for any reason, not be the perfect fit for your family, you would be responsible for either bringing her back to Willow Tree or helping us rehome her from your home.

Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
Post Adoption Life: With all dog it is important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as seamless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these dogs have unknown histories - most are left in the shelter by their owners. The information we have is from observing the animal’s behaviours and reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to three months to properly decompress from post-shelter life and a lot of behaviours and quirks may surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind and are patient.
