About Wilbur
Meet Wilbur, a charming and gentle Griffon with a heart full of love and a delightful personality. At just 4.2 kg, this petite 2-year-old male will quickly capture your heart with his sweet nature. Despite being a little timid when meeting new people, Wilbur soon comes out of his shell, revealing a sociable and affectionate side that is simply irresistible. Once he's comfortable, you'll discover he has a love for cuddles that will make your evenings cozy and warm.
Wilbur gets along splendidly with other little dogs and is quite the sociable fellow in the canine community. He has also shown a composed demeanor around a shelter cat that prefers not to run, suggesting he can adapt to a home with a feline friend given the right introductions. While Wilbur's recall is a work in progress, this clever boy is eager to learn and will benefit greatly from lead training to help you with enjoyable walks and enhance the bond between you two.
As a reserved yet rewarding companion, Wilbur seeks a loving home that can offer him patience and understanding in those initial meet-and-greet moments, along with a cozy spot on the couch for those cuddle sessions he cherishes. If you're searching for a beautiful boy who will blossom with kindness and attention, Wilbur may just be your perfect match.
Wilbur will also need regular grooming.
Medical notes
Wilbur had a dental scale and clean.
He has a underbite - monitor dental health annually.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
