About Potato
Meet Potato, a charming Griffon girl with a heart as tender as her name. Born in March 2023, this sweet little girl is looking to transform her current nervous energy into joyful companionship. She's petite, weighing in at just 6.5 kg, and promises to be a bundle of affection once she feels secure and loved in her new environment.
Currently, Potato is taking baby steps toward building her confidence. She's not yet accustomed to wearing a collar or walking on a lead, so any adopter will need to take the introduction to these experiences step-by-step. This adorable pup may initially be unsure when approached, but with patience, your presence will become a great comfort to her. Once you earn her trust, she blossoms with affection and will eagerly bask in the attention she secretly craves.
Potato is looking for a gentle family or individual who appreciates the delicate process of bonding. If you have a warm lap and a compassionate heart, Potato could be the devoted and loving companion you've been seeking. With time and patience, you'll watch her transform from a shy, anxious pup into a confident, happy dog. She might be a work in progress, but the rewards of gaining her love and trust are truly priceless.
Medical notes
Potato has a severe underbite. You will need to monitor dental health regularly. She had a canine extraction plus clean performed.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
