Meet Mia - a beautiful 1-year-old American Staffy mix with the sweetest soul and the kindest eyes. Sitting patiently at the shelter, Mia is hoping her forever family walks through the doors soon... perhaps it could be you.

At first, Mia can be a little shy and reserved, but give her a moment and you'll quickly discover the loving, affectionate girl hiding underneath. Once she trusts you, Mia's gentle nature and playful spirit shine brightly, and she will happily soak up all the love and attention you can give.

Like many Staffies, Mia adores being close to her people and will thrive in a home that understands the breed and appreciates just how loyal and loving these dogs truly are. She would do best with dog-savvy children who can help keep her entertained and include her as part of the family adventures.

Mia does have some joint conditions that will need ongoing management, along with sensitive skin that may occasionally flare up. Thankfully, with a quality diet, gentle shampoos, and medication when needed, these issues can be well managed and certainly don't stop Mia from enjoying life or sharing endless affection with those around her.

Despite everything, Mia remains a happy, resilient girl with so much love left to give. She is untested with cats, so slow and careful introductions would be important.
