Meet Burger!
This handsome English Pointer is a big boy with an even bigger heart. At 44kg, Burger is enjoying his senior years and is looking for a home where he can spend plenty of time with his people. He thrives on companionship and would be best suited to a household where someone is home most of the day to keep him company.
Like many pointers, Burger can be enthusiastic about the world around him and may get a little excited and vocal when people or traffic pass by. With patience, guidance, and ongoing positive reinforcement, he'll continue to learn that not everything needs a running commentary!
Burger can also feel a little worried during vet visits and appreciates gentle reassurance from those he trusts. Being a large senior gentleman, he has developed several fatty lumps over the years, but these have all been assessed by a veterinarian and are not currently causing concern.
If you're looking for a loyal companion who loves being part of the family and still has plenty of personality to share, Burger could be the perfect addition to your home.
It is anticipated that Burger will likely need a dental in the coming year.
Medical notes
Burger being the breed that he is, and the age that he is, has several fatty lumps. None of these have proven concerning at his vet visit.
We also suspect he will require a dental in the next 6-12 months.
