About Quentin
True to his name, Quiet Quentin is a gentle little soul who prefers to watch the world from a safe distance before joining in. Shelter life has been incredibly overwhelming for him, and the busy environment has left him feeling anxious and unsure.
The wonderful news? In foster care, we've already started to see the real Quentin emerging.
He's still a shy boy around people, but when other cats are around, his whole personality changes. He loves the company of feline friends and looks to them for reassurance, confidence and comfort. Whether it's following them around the house, curling up together for a nap or joining in playtime, having another cat by his side helps him feel safe.
Because of this, Quentin is looking for a home with a friendly, confident resident cat who can help guide him as he settles into family life. We truly believe another cat will be the key to helping him continue to blossom.
Quentin will need a patient family who understands that trust can't be rushed. He may spend his first few days hiding away, but every tiny step forward will be a huge victory. The moment he chooses to come and sit beside you or quietly ask for affection will be all the more special because you'll know just how far he's come.
Some kittens shine in the shelter. Others, like Quentin, simply survive it. The sensitive souls are often overlooked, waiting for someone to see beyond the fear and recognise the loving companion underneath.
Quentin is part of our Rescue or Rehome program, where we are committed to finding homes for cats and kittens who simply cannot cope in the shelter environment.
