Meet River 🐾
🐶 Personality:
River is a sweet and gentle girl who loves everyone she meets, both people and animals alike. She is wonderful with kids, very gentle and patient, and gets along beautifully with dogs of all sizes, being playful and submissive with her furry friends. She is also great with cats and livestock, making her a truly versatile girl. River has plenty of energy and loves to run and play, but she is equally happy to simply relax and enjoy the company of her people. She has spent her life on a rural property and is used to having space to roam and explore.
🎓 Training:
River knows her basic commands and is a smart girl, as you would expect from a Border Collie x Kelpie! With her intelligence and eagerness to please, she will thrive with ongoing training and mental stimulation to keep that busy mind of hers happy.
🏠 Perfect Home: River has found herself looking for a new home through no fault of her own, after a change in her owner's circumstances. She is a wonderful girl who simply deserves a family that can give her the time, attention, exercise and stimulation she deserves. She would do well with other dogs, cats or even livestock and would suit a wide range of homes. With the right person by her side, River will be the most loyal and loving companion.

~As a working breed I will need lots of training, exercise & mental stimulation. How to do plan to meet those needs?
~ Have you done any training with other dogs? If so what training have you and your previous/current dog completed?
~I will need additional vet work in my life time such as follow up
vaccinations etc, is this a problem?
~I will also need flea and worm treatments to keep me at my
optimum health, are you prepared for that?
~I've had a diet since being at the rescue of quality biscuits, can you guarantee to continue my current diet?
~ I am a good 10-20 years commitment are you 100% ready to
give me a home?

~A yard check or photographic proof of secure fencing, shelter & sleeping areas will be required.
~Written agreement is required by your landlord/real estate for rental properties. A rates notice is required for homeowners.
~A vet reference may be required.
