Meet Roxy – 9 Years Young and Ready for Her Forever Home! 🐾
Hi, I’m Roxy!
Some of you might remember me – I was adopted through GVPAR four years ago, but sadly my family’s circumstances changed and I recently found myself back in foster care. The good news is that I’ve settled beautifully into my foster home alongside my two foster Jack Russell siblings and my confidence has returned.
My foster family says I’m an absolute little gem. I love being with my people and will happily soak up all the pats and cuddles you can offer. I’m a real smoochy poochy who just wants to be loved.
I’m excellent on the lead, friendly with other dogs and people, and I’m even good around chooks. My recall is improving every day, and I’m enjoying learning and building my confidence again.
I sleep happily in my crate at night, although I won’t say no to a spot on the couch if it’s available! When I get very excited to see my people, I can sometimes do a little excited wee because I’m just so happy to see you.
At 9 years old, I’m looking for a calm, predictable home where I can enjoy the quieter side of life. I would be best suited to older humans or retirees who are looking for a loyal companion. Calm dogs are absolutely fine, but I’m not looking for a home with young children.
I’ve settled beautifully into foster care and have shown just how sweet, affectionate and easy-going I can be. If you’re looking for a little dog with a big heart who will happily curl up beside you and be your best friend, I could be the perfect match.

Adoption details
All animals adopted from Goulburn Valley Pet Adoption & Rehoming come with a 1 month trial period. This trial period is to ensure your new family member has enough time to settle into their new environment, and you can both be sure it's the right fit. During this time, do not hesitate to get in contact with us if there are any issues, concerns or questions. If for whatever reason, you decide during the trial period that it's not the right fit, get in contact with us and we will take the animal back into our care, and your adoption fee will be refunded to you. Also, if at anytime during the course of your pets life, you are unable to care for them anymore, we will happily welcome them back.
