About Honey - 1 Year Old Italian Greyhound X
Meet Honey ❤️
Honey is as sweet as her name suggests.
This beautiful Italian Greyhound cross has the elegant build of a Greyhound paired with a unique shaggy coat that makes her absolutely adorable.
Honey didn’t have the best start in life, so she can be a little shy when meeting new people. However, once she feels safe and settles in, her loving personality truly shines. She adores gentle pats and will close her eyes in pure bliss while soaking up the attention.
Honey loves being close to her people and is searching for a home where someone is around most of the time. She forms strong bonds with her humans and is happiest simply being by their side.
Since coming into care, Honey has made wonderful progress. She’s learnt how to play with other dogs, has started showing interest in toys, and now enjoys gentle walks where she can explore the world at her own pace. Honey is a low-energy girl with a soft, low-maintenance coat, making her an easy companion to have around the home.
Honey is currently living happily with another small dog and cats. She pays very little attention to the resident cats and could happily live with dog-friendly felines in her forever home. She would love a calm and confident canine companion to help continue building her confidence and show her the ropes.
Honey’s ideal home would offer:
🐾 Someone home most of the time (retired, semi-retired, work-from-home, or similar)
🐾 A calm, quiet household with a predictable routine
🐾 Another friendly, gentle dog for companionship
🐾 No young children
🐾 Gentle guidance to help her continue building confidence
🐾 Plenty of love, patience and cuddles
Honey is looking for a peaceful home where life moves at a slower pace. She would thrive in a calm environment with patient owners who will give her the time and reassurance she needs to continue blossoming. In return, you’ll gain a loyal little shadow who will adore being by your side. ❤️🐾
Her adoption fee is $800. She is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas, ticks and worms, and is microchipped. She is in foster care in Watanobbi, NSW.
