About Panda - 1.5 Year Old Mini Fox Terrier X
Panda is a bundle of joy to be around, she’s fun, smart, loving and affectionate. Panda loves to play, everything is a game to her; no stick toy or sock is safe when she’s near. Lucky this cheeky girl is as a button and easy to forgive.
Panda is a smart girl and responding well to training she can sit, lie down and stay. Panda is also super affectionate and loves to snuggle on your lap.
She’s very dog friendly and we think having the company of another dog to match her energy and learn from would be ideal.
Panda frequently wants games, especially before bed when she gets her before bed zoomies but she settles down and sleeps through the night in a dog bed at the end her foster carers bed.
Panda has the typical foxie traits of jumping up and licking your face all the time, so she would not be suitable for a home with small children or the elderly. With all that puppy energy she still does lots of mouthing. She hasn’t quite mastered toilet training, but with continued positive reinforcement it should not be long.
Panda will let you know when someone is at the door, she takes neighbourhood watch seriously. She loves going for walks and walks well on lead and loves meeting everyone – children and adults alike.
Panda is smart so just needs consistent training and would be ideal for people who have foxie/JRT experience and another dog.
She would be suitable for home with children over five who are dogs savvy. She’d love to live with another dog and is used to the company of people. She is not suitable for apartments and will need a home with a backyard. Panda is an inside dog and must be allowed inside at all times.
She’s not suitable for rural fencing. She hasn’t been tested with cats. We don’t recommend a home with pocket pets.
Panda is in foster care in Merewether, NSW, and is available for adoption to New South Wales, ACT (no flights).
Her adoption fee is $700. She is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas, ticks and worms, and is microchipped.
