About Roxy *On Trial*
*roxy is currently trialling her new home* this adorable little munchkin is roxy and she’s looking for her forever home, will it be with you???
recently surrendered to sarg for rehousing, as her owner had one too many dogs roxy, is a healthy, happy, friendly little pup who enjoys life. She’s settled in well into foster carer with another sarg pup cadel, a whippet x heeler, and this unlikely pair are in love!!!!! they play together, eat together and sleep together and are having an absolute ball – cadel is even trying to teach roxy to fetch though the tennis ball is a bit big for her little mouth!!
roxy is a loving little girl, who will be a small dog once she’s fully grown and at less that 3kgs she’s a terrific “take anywhere” size. She enjoys both her foster carer’s company and that of other humans of all shapes and sizes including children. Roxy also gets along well with other dogs especially her carer’s male maltese x and she just adores the household kitty who’s only young herself and up for playtime with the pups! roxy really loves a snuggle on your lap when she is all tuckered out from a big day of puppy play. She sleeps inside at night and likes to get under a blanket and she’s not at all fussy when it comes to food even enjoying steamed veggies!
little roxy has been learning to walk on a lead and is also learning to sit for treats. Daily walks or runs around the back yard, secure fencing, chicken necks to chew on, toys to play with and lots of cuddles will make roxy very happy indeed!
roxy would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either a doggie companion to learn from or on her own but only if she won’t be left alone for long periods of time especially while she’s a pup.
