About Ottie
Meet Ottie, an incredibly sweet and adorable Chihuahua with a huge heart and a perfectly petite frame. Born on March 31, 2022, this little lady weighs in at only 2.6 kg, but what she lacks in size, she more than makes up for in charm and personality. With her endearing squeaky noises and soft moans when being picked up, Ottie is a delightful companion who craves the warmth and love of her human friends.
Ottie adores being close to her people and would be happiest in a home where she can be cherished and doted on. She is good with other small dogs and would welcome the company of a furry sibling her own size. However, due to her delicate stature, she would be best suited for homes without children under 12, ensuring her safety and comfort.
Perfect for those seeking a loving lap dog, Ottie loves to be carried around, showered with affection, and embraced in cozy snuggles. Imagine spending your days with her by your side, providing constant companionship and a steady stream of unconditional love. With her sweet disposition and irresistible charm, Ottie is ready to find a special someone who will truly adore her.
Medical notes
Ottie had patella surgery on her right leg.
She has grade1/3 luxation on her left patella. Monitor for lameness.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
