Meet Zelda - The Warrior Princess 🐾

When Zelda first arrived in care, the world was a very scary place. Having had little exposure to life outside her previous environment, even everyday sights and sounds felt overwhelming. While she has come a long way in foster care, Zelda is still building her confidence and is looking for a family who can continue helping her navigate the world at her own pace.

At home, Zelda's goofy personality shines through. She loves playing with other medium to large dogs, zooming around the yard, splashing in water, and collecting cuddles from her favourite people. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once she realises you're a friend, she's all about affection and companionship.

Zelda is very food motivated, making training both easy and rewarding. She walks beautifully on lead, has good recall, uses the doggy door, and is eager to learn.

Because the world can still feel a little overwhelming at times, Zelda is looking for a quieter suburban home rather than a busy inner city environment. She would love a confident dog friend to learn from and an active family committed to continuing her positive socialisation and confidence building.

This sweet girl has already shown how much she can grow when given patience and support. Now she's looking for a family who can help her take the next steps on her journey.
