Purrtunia

Purrtunia is a sweet, affectionate and wonderfully low-maintenance lady who would love a calm, quiet home. She enjoys her beauty sleep during the day but is always ready for pats, cuddles and food!

Every morning, Purrtunia comes to greet her people on the bed with purrs, smooches and biscuits. She’ll often follow you around the house, rubbing against your legs for attention, but is also perfectly happy entertaining herself or snoozing alongside her son, Purrcy.

Purrtunia is friendly with people but can take a little time to build trust. Once she knows you, she becomes a loving and affectionate companion. She’d suit someone looking for a gentle, relaxed cuddle buddy who doesn’t need a lot of space or constant attention.

Purrtunia came into care heavily pregnant, unwell, severely anaemic and dehydrated. She needed emergency hospitalisation and went into labour while receiving treatment, with three kittens surviving, including Purrcy. She was initially very protective of her babies, but over time learned to trust people and has blossomed into the loving girl she is today.

She currently lives with other cats and mostly keeps to her son, Purrcy, and another calm male cat. She hasn’t been tested with dogs. Given her gentle, relaxed nature, Purrtunia would likely thrive in a peaceful home.
