About Hershey
Meet Hershey, a sweet, goofy and intelligent 2-year-old Red and Tan Kelpie with a heart full of love and a zest for life.
Through no fault of her own, Hershey was found as a pregnant stray and has successfully raised her puppies. Hershey is now eager and ready to find a forever home of her own.
Hershey adores people and loves being part of whatever her humans are doing. Whether she's pottering around the garden, heading out on a walking adventure, learning new tricks, or simply relaxing inside after a fun day, she's happiest when she's included in family life. She has settled seamlessly into foster care and has been an absolute pleasure to have around.
True to her Kelpie nature, she loves her training and is a quick and eager learner. Hershey is friendly with her furry foster sisters and enjoys canine company when introductions are calm and gradual – she can get a bit excited early but does have good doggie manners.
She genuinely enjoys learning and engaging with her people, making her a rewarding companion for someone who is happy to continue building on the great foundation she already has.
Hershey is crate trained, toilet trained, and travels well in the car and sleeps soundly during the night. She is continuing to improve her leash manners every day and is eager to learn. Hershey has a great off-switch and loves snoozing on her favourite outdoor couch or in her crate inside.
Hershey will thrive in a home that provides ongoing training, clear boundaries and consistency. If you're looking for a fun-loving, affectionate and loyal companion to share life's adventures, Hershey could be the perfect addition to your family. Having completed her mum duties, Hershey is now ready to enjoy the next chapter of her life as a much-loved family companion.
Hershey is located in VIC.
