🐱 Meet the special girl K 💜

K is the sweetest companion you could ask for.
She’s the self-appointed socialite of the house and will happily come and greet anyone who drops by for a visit.

When it’s dinner time, she’ll either be sure to let you know with a series of adorable little squeaks, or she’ll sleep straight through it and wake up later from one of her extended naps in her favourite cat hammock.

At 6 years old, K has mastered the art of being an adult. She’s perfectly litter trained and keeps herself neat and tidy. She still enjoys playing, but mostly on her own terms. One of her favourite things is a good belly rub – once she’s comfortable with you, she’ll roll onto her back and make air biscuits while soaking up the attention. She’s also quite happy to be picked up if it means getting a better view out the window.

The only thing she hasn’t mastered is how to keep her tongue in her mouth or sing (her meow always sounds slightly out of tune somehow but don’t tell her that) 😂

Thanks to her previous life of luxury, K is carrying a little extra weight and would benefit from shedding a kilo or so. Aside from that, she’s healthy, with only some mild plaque build-up that could be managed with dental biscuits.

She’s been curious about her two kitten flatmates, often greeting them with a sniff and a head bump. This suggests she could do well with other cats, provided introductions are done properly and they respect her personal space while she gets on with what she does best – collecting pats.

K would thrive in a quieter household. She tells us she would tolerate children over 10, but if she’s being honest, she’d probably prefer a home where most of the attention is directed her way.

As such a people-oriented cat, K would also love a home where someone is around more often, as she enjoys checking in regularly with her humans.

An indoor-only lifestyle is essential, as her little white nose and ear tips are prone to sunburn.

K previously lived with dogs, although she has not been tested with dogs while in foster care.

Finally, K would like it noted that her new home must include at least three or four different beds. After all, a lady needs options depending on her mood and preferred view for the day.

Her adoption fee is $150, and she is available for interstate adoption. She has been desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.
