About Ralph
Ralph is a male chocolate point Siamese available for adoption in Mango Hill (Brisbane, Queensland).
Ralph is a cat who makes himself part of the family. His people call him a dog trapped in a cat's body, and an afternoon with him shows you why.
He comes when you call. He brings his toys back for another round of fetch. He follows you from the lounge to the back yard and back again, in case you need a hand with anything.
Ralph is warm with everyone, new faces included. A head bump against your legs and a hopeful look is how he introduces himself.
He suits a household with plenty of life in it, where someone is home more often than not and a lap is rarely empty for long.
A little about Ralph:
🐾 Loves a lap, and will tuck in as the little spoon when you're lying down
🐾 Big fan of fetch, sunshine and a patch of cat grass
🐾 Lights up around a young family, trampoline bounces included
🐾 Greets new people with head bumps and a request for pats
🐾 Comes running the moment he hears his name
Ralph's mornings begin with a cuddle and a hello to the household. Then it's out to the yard for sunshine and a nibble of cat grass.
The middle of the day belongs to naps. The afternoon brings play, with fetch at the top of his list.
Affection is how Ralph takes part in life. He's in your lap before you've finished sitting down, and he'll curl against your back when you lie down to rest.
He has lived happily alongside children and enjoys joining the fun. His confidence with visitors means a busy home suits him, and he's generous with his company.
Ralph is happiest as the only cat, where his devotion has room to land. A secure yard or catio to potter in suits him well, with a sunny corner and some grass to nibble.
He'll suit a guardian who is experienced with cats and enjoys one with plenty to say. A settled household with a steady routine is where he is at his best.
Picture a weekend afternoon. Ralph pads behind you to the washing line, drops a toy at your feet, then claims the warmest square of lawn.
Ralph is ready. The fetch, the head bumps, the shadow at your heels and a family to belong to.
FAQ
Is Ralph a lap cat? Very much so. He'll climb onto your lap, curl up beside you and make you feel loved.
Is he good with children? Ralph has lived alongside children and joins in the fun. He loves the company.
How does Ralph handle a move? Moving house is a big change for any cat, and after his last move Ralph had a period of toileting outside his litter tray. Plenty of litter trays and a calm, settled start give him the best chance to find his feet, and he hasn't had any episodes in months.
Does Ralph need to be the only cat? He's happiest that way. As the only cat he gets all the attention, and he gives plenty back.
Medical notes
Ralph is in good general health and has recently had a dental clean.
His vet identified early signs of tooth resorption in one tooth and recommends a follow-up X-ray in the coming months to monitor it.
His complete patient history is on file and ready to be forwarded to his new guardian's veterinary team.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
Home2Home currently operates a ‘pay what you choose’ system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose an adoption fee amount that is suitable for them. All adoption fees are used to support PetRescue's life-saving programs, including Home2Home.
