About Sarge
Open to meet kids
Dog friendly
Affectionate, playful boy
How can you not fall in love with these eyes?
This handsome boy is incredibly food motivated and will happily demonstrate his talent for catching treats mid-air. If snacks are involved, Sarge is paying attention! His love of food also makes him a great candidate for ongoing training and enrichment.
When playtime is over, Sarge is more than happy to settle down for some affection. He loves spending time with his people and enjoys plenty of pats, cuddles, and being include.
Sarge is open to meeting both dogs and children and may suit a variety of homes looking for a fun-loving boy. He has a friendly nature and is always keen to make new friends, whether they have two legs or four.
Sarge is searching for a family who will embrace his goofy personality, keep him entertained, and give him all the love he deserves. In return, he'll provide endless laughs, unconditional love, and a lifetime of companionship.

With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as flawless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories. Most left in the shelter by their owners. The information we receive is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks will surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
So please keep in touch with us after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
