Meet Smokey

Smokey is a handsome Husky with a big personality and an even bigger heart. While he can be a little unsure about being handled by unfamiliar people at first, once he trusts you, you'll discover what an affectionate boy he truly is. In fact, Smokey absolutely loves a cuddle, happily leaning in for full-body Husky hugs and soaking up all the attention from his favourite people.

He's been making great progress with his lead walking and is starting to get the hang of life as a well-mannered companion. Like many Huskies, Smokey has energy to burn and would benefit from a home with a secure yard, plenty of enrichment, and a family committed to continuing his training and helping him reach his full potential.

Smokey enjoys spending time with people and loves being involved in whatever is going on around him. One of his favourite games is catching treats mid-air, and he's always ready to show off his snack-catching skills for an appreciative audience.

When it comes to other dogs, Smokey is social, but he's definitely a bit "extra" in true Husky fashion. Because of this, we feel he would be happiest as the only dog in the home, where he can be the centre of attention and enjoy all the love for himself.

And while Smokey is undeniably gorgeous, don't expect him to take a bad photo seriously. Despite his striking looks, he somehow manages to pull the most wonderfully derpy expressions whenever a camera appears. It's all part of his charm and one of the many reasons we adore him.
