Rocky

Rocky is a sweet-natured boy looking for his forever home. Since coming into foster care, he has adjusted beautifully to his new environment and has proven himself to be an easy-going, well-mannered companion.

Rocky loves his daily walks and is a pleasure to take out. He happily lets you put on his harness, walks calmly, enjoys having a good sniff around, and remains relaxed and unbothered by children or everyday surroundings. He is still learning some basic commands but is eager to please and responds well to guidance.

One of Rocky's most endearing qualities is his calm temperament. He has shown no signs of anxiety, settled into sleeping in his crate from the very first night, and stays quiet until it's time to get up in the morning. In fact, we've only heard him bark on two occasions!

When he's feeling playful, Rocky enjoys zooming around the yard with a stuffed toy. Even during his energetic moments, he remains mindful and gentle when approaching people.

At mealtimes, Rocky is polite and patient, happily waiting for his food and showing no signs of food guarding or resource-related behaviours.

Most of all, Rocky loves being close to his people. Whether it's sharing cuddles on the couch, enjoying a gentle pat, or simply sitting beside you, he is an affectionate and loving companion who thrives on human connection.
