Maple is a sweet, gentle girl whose journey has been one of resilience and quiet courage. She was rescued while heavily pregnant from an aged care facility after Kittie Kat Rescue was called in to help trap and save her. Thankfully, Maple was brought safely into care, where she gave birth to her kittens and raised them with love. Her babies have all now found their forever homes, and it's finally Maple's turn. 🤍
Maple can be timid when meeting new people and has taken time to learn that humans can be trusted. While she is still building confidence, she has made wonderful progress and continues to blossom every day. Once she trusts you, she enjoys company, happily accepts pats, and likes being close by her favourite people.
She is the kind of cat who forms deep, meaningful bonds, and her future family will have the privilege of watching her continue to grow and flourish. Maple doesn't ask for much — just a patient, loving home where she can feel safe and continue her journey at her own pace.

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process:
-Initial Contact & Questionnaire. We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
-Video Tour. We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, we’d love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
-Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer. Once your application is complete and approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
-Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home. In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet (an adoption fee is payable). Adoption paperwork will follow.
-Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation. Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isn’t the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
-All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
Adoption fees:
-Kittens: $350
-Cats 1 - 3 Years: $275
-Cats 3 Years+: $200
All adoptions will also carry a lifetime registration/admin fee of $62 on top of the above adoption price.
