Hi, I'm Mittens! I'm a sweet, gentle soul with an aura of innocence and a placid temperament. I'm naturally shy and cautious, so I need a little time to build my confidence and feel comfortable in new situations.

I have a big heart that just wants to love and be loved. Once I feel safe and settled, you'll start to see my playful side shine through. But if I'm being honest, my true calling in life is to be a lap cat! I am the most cuddly, snuggly, smoochy little love bug you could ever hope to meet.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
In my foster home, I've had the company of a very playful little kitten and have also met other big cats, a big dog, and older children.

I've discovered that I definitely prefer calm companions who are kind, gentle and placid, just like me. I enjoy a quieter lifestyle with less noise and chaos and would love the company of adults who are home often and can spend plenty of time giving me cuddles.

I would make the perfect companion for an older cat because I'm not overly energetic and wouldn't annoy another cat the way some active kittens might.

Likes / Dislikes
I absolutely love spending countless hours snuggling in bed or on the couch, curled up on your chest. I'd happily spend my days relaxing with you and watching television, as long as you don't mind turning the volume up to hear over my roaring purr!

I thrive in a calm environment where I can take my time building confidence and where there isn't too much unpredictability. I do enjoy playing with toys, but I much prefer gentle play with a wand toy rather than wrestling and chasing games.

My PURR-fect home would include an older, friendly cat who isn't overly playful but enjoys keeping company together on warm beds and cosy blankets. I would love a home with adults who are around a lot and can shower me with affection and cuddles. My ideal home would be loving, calm and safe, allowing my gentle temperament to truly thrive.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.
