About Pawpaw
Meet Pawpaw š¾ - A Queen in the Making
Pawpaw is a cat who understands that the best things in life are worth earning. She may take a little time to open up, preferring to observe her surroundings and the people in them before fully giving her heart-but once she does, you'll have a bond that's truly something special.
This lovely lady isn't one to hand out affection freely to just anyone. Instead, she chooses her person carefully. But once you've gained her trust? You'll have a loyal companion who will stick by your side, follow you from room to room, and quietly make herself an essential part of your life.
Don't be fooled by her initial reserve-once Pawpaw has settled into her new home and feels safe, her true personality shines. Confidence blooms, and before you know it, she'll be ruling the roost with effortless charm. She'll claim her favourite spots, set her own routine, and remind everyone that she's the star of the household.
Pawpaw would do best with a patient adopter who understands that love doesn't always happen instantly-but when it does, it's all the more meaningful.
Pawpaw's ideal home:
A calm, patient household willing to give her time to adjust
Someone who appreciates a strong, independent personality
A home where she can blossom at her own pace and take charge once she's ready
Plenty of cosy spots to claim as her own throne
š Earn Pawpaw's love, and you'll gain a devoted best friend-and a tiny queen to rule your home.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
