Meet Brisket!

Brisket is a striking young Rottweiler with plenty of personality and energy. At under two years of age, he's looking for an experienced owner who can provide the structure, consistency, and leadership he needs to thrive.

Having arrived at the shelter as a stray, much of Brisket's history is unknown. Since coming into our care, he has shown himself to be highly food motivated and eager to learn, responding well to clear boundaries and confident handling. Due to his enthusiasm around food, his new family will need to manage mealtimes carefully to help prevent resource guarding.

Brisket is not suitable to live with other dogs. He is a very strong dog and has shown reactivity towards other dogs, so he will need to be the only canine in the home and should avoid situations where he is likely to encounter off-leash dogs.

He can also be fearful of mirrors and electric razors, so his new family should be prepared to help him build confidence around unfamiliar sights and sounds at his own pace.
