About Shutterbug
Shutterbug is an affectionate, confident, and highly social cat who settled into foster care remarkably quickly. Despite presenting as shy and withdrawn in the shelter, he quickly revealed himself to be an adventurous, people-oriented companion who thrives on attention and interaction. He enjoys exploring his environment, engaging in play, watching birds and television, and spending time with both people and other animals. Shutterbug has demonstrated excellent litter tray habits, appropriate scratching behaviour, and outstanding tolerance of handling. He would suit a variety of home environments and is likely to make a wonderful companion for adopters seeking a friendly, affectionate, and easy-going cat. May like company of another cat.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
