🐾 Meet Jimmy – The Fun-Loving Snuggle Buddy 🐾

Jimmy is a happy, affectionate puppy with a beautiful nature and a big love for people. Friendly, playful and eager to be involved in whatever his humans are doing, he's the kind of pup who forms strong bonds and wants to be part of the family.

Jimmy loves meeting new people and greets everyone with enthusiasm and affection. He enjoys playtime just as much as cuddle time, making him a wonderful mix of energetic puppy and loving companion. At the end of the day, he's happiest curled up close to his people and currently sleeps snuggled up on the bed with his foster family.

As a young puppy, Jimmy is still learning all the important life skills. He has already started responding to his name and is learning commands such as sit, wait, stay and down. He's keen to please and enjoys training, although like many puppies he can occasionally develop a case of "selective hearing" when something more exciting catches his attention!
Jimmy is also working on his toilet training. Progress is very much a work in progress, particularly during the rainy weather, and his new family should be prepared to continue his training with patience, consistency and plenty of positive reinforcement.

Jimmy enjoys chewing on toys and is currently going through the normal puppy teething stage. He will benefit from lots of appropriate chew toys and ongoing guidance as he learns what is and isn't acceptable to put in his mouth.

He gets along well with other animals and has already met one of the resident cats in foster care. Jimmy's enthusiastic introduction earned him a quick swipe from the cat, which sent him retreating dramatically, but he hasn't held a grudge and has shown no fear or aggression. With careful introductions, he has the potential to live successfully with a dog-savvy cat.

Because Jimmy loves company, he can be a little clingy and may cry when separated from his people. A home where someone is around for much of the day, or one with another friendly dog, would help him continue building confidence and independence as he grows.

Jimmy is looking for an active home that can provide plenty of exercise, training, enrichment and socialisation as he matures. In return, he'll reward his new family with endless affection, laughter and companionship.
