The Captain

*In foster care in Wiley Park, Sydney*

Never shy about asking for (or giving) affection, The Captain might easily have been named The Biggest Cuddle Bug instead! He likes to get right up on your neck for nap time, sometimes even nibbling on your ear when he's feeling particularly cosy. And during couch snuggles he'll tap you on the arm - that's his request for you to shift so he can get into a comfier position :)

The Captain also enjoys making biscuits on you, which is very relaxing! (We think he was a massage therapist in a past life.) You can unlock another of his signature moves by sitting on the floor and waiting for him to stroll over, sit in your lap and then flop onto his back, staring into your eyes with undying love and devotion!

This beautiful boy is extremely playful too, and will often make tiny chirps to tell you how much fun he's having. In addition, his purr game is strong, he's not fussy about food, and his coat looks like a chocolate ice cream swirl. The cuteness levels are off the charts with this one!

Like all Maggie’s pets, The Captain is microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: Having my special humans around is my favourite thing in the world, but I'm pretty easygoing - so if you're away most of the day, I'll be fine. (Especially if there's another nice cat for me to hang out with!) Quality time with you when you're home is super important to me though.

MY ENERGY LEVEL: High during playtime - especially if you've got the feather wand out! But I'm a snuggly softy at heart.

MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I haven't met any kids yet, but with my calm personality (and occasional openness to being held like a baby) I should get along with respectful children.

MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Cats are great! I love playing with them and sometimes grooming them too.

While I'm untested with dogs at this stage, I may be OK with a nice one after slow and careful introductions.
