About Hester
*In foster care in Forest Lodge, Sydney*
Hester has the kind of gentle, affectionate nature that instantly melts hearts and makes everyone who meets her fall in love!
Confident and endlessly charming, she adores being around people and likes to flop down beside you, stretching out for pats and scratches while purring contentedly. She spends her days watching the world from sunny windows, making biscuits with fierce concentration (see video!), and searching for the cosiest sleeping spots she can find :)
While she’s a champion napper and loves a lazy afternoon, Hester also has the wonderfully silly personality orange cats are famous for - randomly bursting into playful zoomies and goofy antics that are guaranteed to make you laugh.
We think she'd be happy almost anywhere she's given all the cuddles and love she deserves!
Like all Maggie’s pets, Hester is microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be my safe haven - a place where I can relax, receive plenty of affection and be treated as part of the family. Being so easygoing and well-adjusted, I should adapt well to a variety of home environments!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Moderate, I'd say. I love to take it easy - snoozing for hours on end, or hanging out with you peacefully while you work or watch TV - but I like a playful moment as much as the next cat :)
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I've heard that kind and respectful children can be great company!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I may enjoy living with other pets, after slow and steady introductions.

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
