💕 ALFIE 💕

HI! I'm Alfie! I am high energy, fluffy, speedy and very affectionate. My favourite things to do are to cuddle with you or to be sprinting around the dog park with all my friends. Quick notes about me: - I am still being house trained. If I have constant access to a yard, then I don’t have a single accident in the house. If I am in an apartment, I am still learning to go on the dog potty grass on the balcony/hold it until I am taken outside, but I have gotten much better at this. - I need to be in a house with another dog and preferably one that likes to play! I need my new owner/s to work from home sometimes as I can get anxious if it is just me and another dog at home for 8 hours a day 5 days a week. - I need to get out of the house to go on walks/to the dog park to run around or I go a little stir crazy. You’ll notice that I start to whimper, do random barks, or nibble on something I’ve found on the ground if I am not getting enough attention/exercise. - I also have the cutest underbite and my little teefs stick out which just makes me even more adorable.

A typical day in the life of me with my foster mom and her fluffy baby - I wake-up cuddled up next to my foster mom and my temporary fluffy sister. My foster mom gets up, and I immediately start following her the whole time is getting ready. If she is taking too long, I'll let her know "Hey! I need to pee! Hurry up!", with a small bark or two. Once I see her grab our leashes I can't help but bounce around with excitement (which sometimes makes it hard to put on my leash but oh well!). When we get outside, I get to pee on all the bushes and trees and grass and am so happy. If we come across other dogs on our walk, I like to say “Hi” and I might do that by giving a non-aggressive bark. If my foster mom stops to chat to someone for too long, then I will also do some little barks to let her know “uh Hello?? We are on a walk so let’s WALK”. When we get back inside, I get breakfast, I’ll play fetch, take my temp fluffy sister’s ball away from her, and then nap.

If my foster mom works from home then I will make sure I am cuddled with her on her chair, under the desk or on her feet. If she goes to the office, then I will nap with my temp fluffy sister, hang out with her and lick her face. When my foster mom gets home, I go a little crazy because I am SO excited. I’ll bounce around and do some barks to greet her. We go straight to the dog park, and I get to sprint my little heart out with the big and little dogs. I LOVE big dogs and love to chase them around. If a dog doesn’t want to play with me, I just don’t understand why they don’t want to, and I will stand in front of them and bark at them until either they start to play or my foster mom tells me to stop. We go home, I have dinner, I play fetch, taunt my temp fluffy sister by stealing her ball, then go to sleep cuddled up on the bed.
