Hello there! Once upon a time, there were three Po's (don’t mispronounce that *wink*) — Tekapo (that’s me!), Kakapo, and Pekapo. Now I’m the only one left still searching for my forever home, so poor me!

I started life as a bottle baby, and my foster mum has cared for me since I was just three days old. What does that mean? Well, I absolutely love hoomans, hooman cuddles, and everything hooman! Humans are the only family I’ve ever known, so being around people is my favourite thing.

If I can find a lap to fall asleep on, I’m one very happy little Vegemite. I’m always up for lots of playtime and zoomies too, whether that’s chasing my foster mum around the house or playing with one of the other cats.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
My foster home is full of kittens and cats of all sizes, and I love having furry company around me day and night. Since my brothers found their homes, I’ve become very close to my kitten friend. She’s a little bigger than me, but she’s always ready for a game of chase the ball.

I also live with a medium-sized dog who barks very loudly. I’ve become quite used to this silly behaviour, and it doesn’t scare me one bit.

Likes / Dislikes
✔️ Food — I’m always ready and waiting when it’s mealtime.
✔️ Lots of toys to keep me enriched, entertained, and happy.
✔️ Being around my humans — I miss them when they leave the house.
✔️ Staying warm and snuggly during the colder nights.
✔️ Looking out the window and watching the birds.

❌ Late meals.
❌ Mum and Dad staying out for too long.

My PURR-fect home would be full of fun, love, attention, and plenty of playtime because that’s all I’ve ever known. I would absolutely love to be adopted with another furry friend, but if that’s not possible, I would thrive in a home with another friendly cat or dog. If there won’t be a furry companion in the home, I would love humans who are around often, as I truly thrive on companionship, affection, and being part of the family.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

Medical Notes: Tekapo had cat flu, which is a respiratory infection. He was treated for this and given the all clear by the vet.
