Jon Snow & Satin

Satin and Jon Snow are a beautiful bonded pair who absolutely adore each other. They both have striking white-speckled faces, can both fly, and are very handsome little pigeons.

Jon Snow came into care as a baby and was raised around humans with his little sister. He was a very well-fed baby — so well-fed that he eventually grew bigger than his adoptive parents, who continued feeding him for as long as he would let them. Because he grew up around people, he is the more confident of the pair.

Satin had a much harder start. Before coming into care, her flight feathers had been cut and she was left outside in the wild, where she became very thin and fearful of humans. Since then, she has grown stronger and safer, and she now takes much of her confidence from Jon Snow.

Together, Satin and Jon Snow make a handsome pair. They are affectionate with each other, enjoy each other’s company, and would suit a patient indoor home that can give Saturn time to continue building trust, or a predator-proof aviary. With kindness, routine, and gentle handling, they have wonderful potential to become much-loved house pigeons.

They do lay eggs each month, so their future home will need to swap their eggs with fake eggs to prevent breeding.

Satin and Jon Snow must be adopted together as a bonded pair.
