About Storm & Griff
Storm and Griff are a very loving bonded pair looking for a safe forever home together.
Storm is a sweet female pigeon who was rescued as a fledgling during Cyclone Alfred. Griff is her devoted partner, a handsome male pigeon who was found in Kelvin Grove Urban Village with a broken wing. Despite his rough start, he has grown into a gentle bird with a lot of love to give.
These two are closely bonded and enjoy nesting together. They will come with a pair of fake eggs for responsible family planning, as their eggs will need to be swapped to prevent breeding.
Storm and Griff may need a little time to settle into a new home, but once they trust you, they will eat from your hand. With patience, routine, and gentle attention, they have the potential to become a very sweet and rewarding pair.
They would suit either an indoor home or a secure, predator-proof aviary setup. As a bonded pair, Storm and Griff must be adopted together.
Medical notes
Griff came into care with a broken wing. His wing injury continues to affect his flight, so his future home will need to provide a safe setup that does not rely on strong flight ability.
Storm has no known ongoing medical concerns.
