About Petal
Meet Petal, a beautiful female Labrador at 27.2kg, with a delicate spirit waiting to blossom in the right home. She was born on November 4, 2022, and while young, she carries the wisdom of a gentle soul. Although initially shy and cautious, Petal has shown the potential to be a wonderfully rewarding companion. With a little patience and a lot of love, Petal will learn to trust and find her place in your heart.
Petal is looking for a quiet, understanding environment to call home. She takes life one step at a time and appreciates having a calm space where sudden movements are few and far between. She gets along with cats, and sees them as kindred spirits. Petal is not aggressive with people, she's simply timid and requires gentle care and reassurance as she becomes acquainted with her surroundings.
In time, Petal will find her stride, and you'll discover her affection and loyalty have always been there, waiting to be unlocked. Let her be part of your soothing household and watch her transform into the loving companion you didn't know you were missing.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
