Meet Benny 🐾

Benny is a sweet, good-natured boy with plenty of energy, a big heart, and big feelings. He is playful, affectionate, funny, and happiest when he is close to his humans.

Benny takes his role as household toy manager very seriously. He loves retrieving toys from the toy box and proudly bringing them to wherever you are. He may chase one toy, abandon it halfway through, then race back to find the next one — chaotic, adorable, and very Benny.

He also has a hilarious, gentle wrestling style and loves walks, playtime, and being involved in family life. Around the home, Benny is generally pretty chilled, has lovely manners, and takes himself outside to toilet.

On lead, Benny walks beautifully with frequent check-ins, though he can get excited when other dogs come close. He generally gets along well with small dogs, though he can sometimes be a little enthusiastic about personal space.

Benny is in very good health, but he does have moderate separation anxiety. This can show as howling or crying when left, though it is not always consistent. His new family will need to be patient and committed to helping him work through this with gentle routines and training.

Benny will not suit a home where he is left alone for long periods. He will thrive with people who are home often, enjoy his company, and can give him the love, activity, and reassurance he needs.
