This big, beautiful boy lives for human connection. He’s a champion “moustacher” - gently rubbing his sweet face against you for endless pats and head scratches. If you dare stop too soon, he’ll give you the softest little love nip as if to say, “Excuse me, more please!”

He’s the kind of cat who will follow you from room to room just to be near you, chatting away in his sweet voice.

At night, Miguel is pure bliss. He loves nothing more than sleeping on your chest, curled up in the crook of your arm, or snuggled right beside you on the couch like a living hot water bottle. He’s a world-class snuggler who makes every evening feel cozy and special.

Miguel’s Quirks & Joyful Habits:

He’s a foodie who adores his meals (a perfect mix of biscuits, wet food, chicken, and treats). You’ll hear all about it as he talks you through breakfast and dinner prep, politely encouraging you to hurry up!
He’s very particular about his water - he’ll politely (but determinedly) push the bowl away from his food, often with a little spill for dramatic effect.
Miguel is a talented morning bird-watcher. He’s figured out how to open plantation shutters so he can sit and have a lovely chat with the birds outside.
Playtime is delightful! He’s obsessed with his “artificial birdie” (a feathery wand toy). He’ll hunt it with glee and proudly bring his “catch” back to you to show off.

While Miguel can be a little timid when meeting new people (he might hide under the bed or in a cupboard at first), he warms up beautifully within a day or two, especially once he realizes you’re the wonderful human with the food and cuddles. Once he trusts you, he’s your devoted shadow.

Miguel has only ever been an indoor cat and would thrive in a calm, loving home as the one-and-only feline (he’s not a fan of other cats after some past sibling rivalry). He gets along well with small dogs, though he’ll let them know with a gentle swipe when he’s had enough attention.

This sweet, gentle soul is looking for his forever people, someone who will cherish his big affectionate personality and give him the peaceful, love-filled life he deserves.

About Us

Urban Feline Australia is a small, independent cat rescue dedicated to saving surrendered cats from kill shelters and finding them loving, permanent homes.

Founded and run by a passionate animal lover with the support of dedicated friends and volunteers, we specialise in caring for cats that have previously lived in family homes but, for various reasons, can no longer stay with their owners.

Since our inception, we have been fortunate to build a small but dedicated network of volunteer foster carers. These compassionate individuals welcome the surrendered cats into their homes, providing them with love, care, and a safe environment while we search for their perfect forever families.

As a tiny, grassroots rescue with no government funding or large facilities, every rescue is powered by compassion, community support, and a genuine commitment to animal welfare.

All adoption fees and donations go directly toward the essential needs of the cats in our care — including premium food, veterinary treatment, litter, equipment, and ongoing medical support. We rely heavily on the generosity of our foster carers, volunteers, and supporters to continue our work.

Our long-term vision is to expand so we can help even more cats in need. This includes securing a larger dedicated property and, one day, possibly opening a cat café to raise awareness and funds while creating a welcoming space for cat lovers.
