About Sigrid
Introducing Sigrid (Siggi) – A Striking Tabby Kitten
Sigrid, affectionately known as Siggi, is a beautiful tabby kitten searching for a forever home with one very important requirement – an endless supply of Churu treats! If there's a way to this little lady's heart, treats are definitely it.
Her carer describes Siggi as having the sweetest face, framed by gorgeous tabby stripes. And let's be honest – who doesn't love a tabby cat?
When she's not enjoying her favourite treats, Siggi can often be found playing with shoelaces, which she considers one of life's greatest inventions. She also loves spending time with her brother, Percival, and happily joins in playtime with both him and her carer.
Like many kittens, Siggi can be a little reserved when faced with new surroundings and will need a settling-in period before her true personality shines through. The good news is that she recently moved to a new foster home and settled remarkably well. Within a week she was confidently exploring her surroundings, chasing shoelaces, and happily accepting every treat that came her way.
Siggi is looking for a patient and loving family who will give her the time she needs to adjust and flourish into the wonderful companion she is destined to be.
If you think Sigrid could be the perfect tabby girl for your family, please complete the online adoption application under her profile. If your application is successful, one of our volunteers will be in touch to arrange a meet and greet.
Sigrid is currently in foster care at The Gables, Western Sydney.
Adoption details
STUFF YOU NEED TO KNOW: I will come desexed, vaccinated (1st F3) and microchipped and will have up to date worm and flea treatments.
ADOPTING ME: You must be able to provide me with a loving long term and safe home. I would be fine in an apartment as long as I didn't have free run of the balcony if it wasn't fully enclosed. Please ensure your house or apartment can contain a cat inside (ie fly screens etc).
Please remember that I have thought seriously about taking you on and when you take me home, I am committing to you for life. So, I hope you have thought seriously about this and are likewise planning on committing to me.
ABOUT YOU: Given you know all about me, my foster parents would like to know something about who my new parents are going to be. They have rescued me and have given me a lot of care and love. I know they love me and therefore want the best for me.
ABOUT US: AWL Western Suburbs branch wants to promote adoptions of cats from our foster carers & pounds. If you would like to help us, please feel free to contact us and find out how you may assist, including being a foster parent.
All adoptions will require a Pre-adoption application form completed and returned prior to a meet & greet with our cats. Please note that several people may be applying for the same cat so we need time to review all applicants. We do not re-home to the first to apply, we re-home to who best suits the needs of the cat or kitten. All applications will be considered individually and approval will be at the discretion of the AWL NSW Branch Representative, with their decision being final.
