About Percival
Meet Percival (Percy) – One Very Handsome Kitten
With his soft grey and white coat and gentle nature, Percival (Percy) is one seriously handsome young man looking for a place to call home.
Percy is a shy little guy when meeting new people, but once he feels safe and relaxed, his playful personality shines through. So how does this handsome fellow unwind? Give him a feather wand or bring out the pesky red dot from a laser pointer, and you'll soon see him spring into action! Moving at the speed of light, Percy quickly forgets he's supposed to be a reserved gentleman and lets loose in pursuit of his favourite toys.
We won't pretend that Percy will settle into a new home overnight. Like many shy kittens, he will need a little time and patience to adjust to his new surroundings. The good news is that Percy has recently moved into a new foster home and has settled beautifully within a week, showing that once he feels secure, his confidence grows quickly.
Percy is looking for a loving family who will give him the time he needs to settle in and become the wonderful companion we know he can be. The reward for letting him settle will be lots of purrs and snuggles alongside you on the lounge while you watch TV.

STUFF YOU NEED TO KNOW: I will come desexed, vaccinated (1st F3) and microchipped and will have up to date worm and flea treatments.
ADOPTING ME: You must be able to provide me with a loving long term and safe home. I would be fine in an apartment as long as I didn't have free run of the balcony if it wasn't fully enclosed. Please ensure your house or apartment can contain a cat inside (ie fly screens etc).
Please remember that I have thought seriously about taking you on and when you take me home, I am committing to you for life. So, I hope you have thought seriously about this and are likewise planning on committing to me.
ABOUT YOU: Given you know all about me, my foster parents would like to know something about who my new parents are going to be. They have rescued me and have given me a lot of care and love. I know they love me and therefore want the best for me.
ABOUT US: AWL Western Suburbs branch wants to promote adoptions of cats from our foster carers & pounds. If you would like to help us, please feel free to contact us and find out how you may assist, including being a foster parent.
All adoptions will require a Pre-adoption application form completed and returned prior to a meet & greet with our cats. Please note that several people may be applying for the same cat so we need time to review all applicants. We do not re-home to the first to apply, we re-home to who best suits the needs of the cat or kitten. All applications will be considered individually and approval will be at the discretion of the AWL NSW Branch Representative, with their decision being final.
