About Johnny
Meet Johnny š¾ - The Perfect Mix of Wise and Wonderful
Johnny is a senior Staffy who's left his puppy mischief well and truly behind, but don't let his age fool you-this lovely boy still has plenty of spark! He may be a seasoned gentleman, but he'll happily show off his enthusiasm when it's time for a walk, proving he's still got plenty of pep in his step.
At home, Johnny is all about enjoying the simple pleasures in life: a comfy bed, a bit of sunshine, and the company of his favourite people. He's calm, easygoing, and appreciates a relaxed routine, making him a wonderful companion for anyone looking for a steady, loving presence.
When the lead comes out, though, Johnny is ready to go! Walks are one of his favourite things, and he'll brighten up with excitement, eager to get out and explore the world by your side.
Johnny would thrive in a home where he can enjoy both gentle adventures and plenty of downtime, surrounded by people who appreciate the charm of a dog who knows exactly who he is.
Johnny's ideal home:
A calm, loving environment
Someone who enjoys regular walks (and a cheerful walking buddy)
A home ready to offer comfort, routine, and companionship
People who appreciate a dog past the puppy stage but still full of life
š If you're looking for a loyal, steady companion with just the right amount of energy, Johnny is ready to stroll his way into your heart.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
