Meet Mardi 💛
Mardi is a playful, feisty boy with a big personality and an even bigger love for fun. He is energetic, curious, and always ready to dive into whatever is happening around him. Whether he's wrestling with his siblings, chasing movement on the TV, or investigating something new, Mardi brings excitement and entertainment wherever he goes.
Inquisitive and very active, Mardi loves exploring his environment and staying involved in everything around him. While he enjoys his independence and adventurous streak, he also has a sweet side and will happily enjoy a cuddle when the moment suits him — especially when it’s chilly or he’s in a relaxed mood.
Like many kittens, Mardi can be a little unsure around loud noises or sudden movements, but he is growing more confident every day as he continues to settle into the world without his mum. His curiosity and playful nature always help him bounce back quickly into action.
Mardi is not picky when it comes to toys — if it moves, he’s interested! Wand toys, balls, insects, water play, shoes, feet, and anything else that catches his attention are all fair game. His playful energy and quick reactions make him a constant source of laughter and fun.
When he’s ready to rest, Mardi enjoys soaking up the sunshine, lounging in the cat tower, curling up in a window hammock, or occasionally settling into a warm lap for a well-earned nap.
He is very closely bonded with his siblings and thrives on their companionship, so he would absolutely need another kitten or young cat in the home to play, wrestle, and grow with. Because of this strong social need, he would not be suited to a solo-cat home. Mardi also enjoys being around his humans, though he appreciates having his boundaries respected as he balances independence with affection.
With his lively spirit, cheeky personality, and affectionate streak, Mardi is sure to bring endless joy, laughter, and energy to his forever home.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.rescuecatsofmelbourne.com.au/adopt
2. We will be in touch with you within 48 hours if we wish to progress your application.
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
Our 10-Day Health Guarantee: We want you to feel confident in your new family member’s health. We offer a 10-day cooling-off period specifically for health-related concerns. If your kitten shows signs of a pre-existing illness (such as a respiratory infection or parasite) within the first 10 days of arriving home, please contact us immediately. During this window, you have the option to return the kitten for a full refund or work with our rescue team to ensure the kitten receives the necessary care. We are committed to transparency and the wellbeing of our cats.
