About Marcella
Meet Marcella, a beautiful nine-month-old Maremma girl with a heart as big as her fluffy paws. Marcella is bursting with affection and enthusiasm, and if she had to choose her favourite things in life, it would be cuddles, food and spending time with her doggy friends.
Marcella adores humans and loves being part of the action. Whether it's following her foster mum around the property, supervising jobs from a comfortable spot nearby, or joining in with the other dogs, she is happiest when she feels part of the family. True to her Maremma nature, she forms strong bonds with her people and enjoys keeping an eye on everything that's going on around her.
In care, Marcella has been tested with cats, children, horses, cattle and other dogs. She is curious, playful and respectful with all of them. She does occasionally bark at the cats in an attempt to convince them to join her games, but she has shown no aggression towards any animals. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would happily share her home with a canine companion, although she would also thrive as the centre of attention.
Marcella knows her basic commands and is a clever girl, although she can occasionally display a little selective hearing when something more interesting catches her attention. She has a fantastic off switch and is just as happy relaxing on her bed. She sleeps soundly through the night.
The ideal home for Marcella is one where she will be treated as part of the family. She would love a property with space to explore and patrol, while still having plenty of interaction with her people. Like many young Maremmas, she is loyal, loving and devoted to those she trusts, and she will reward her new family with endless affection and companionship.

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at https://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-process-forms/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
