About Willow
Hi there, my name is Willow, and I am a gentle, quiet girl looking for my perfect forever home. I was surrendered into the care of The Lost Dogs' Home by my original owner, and I have since spent some time in a wonderful foster home. My time in foster care was incredibly helpful because it allowed my carers to learn exactly what environments help me thrive. We discovered that I am definitely not a fan of dogs, so I will need a strictly canine-free home. Because I am a bit shy and prefer a peaceful environment, I would also do best in an adult-only home or with family members who are at least secondary-school aged or older.
While I can be a little reserved at first, I promise that I make an absolutely wonderful companion once I get to know you. I am a very independent roommate and actually enjoy having some alone time to rest and relax when no one is home. However, I also have a big heart and absolutely love affection. I quickly feel loved and safe through gentle pats and focused attention. Once I feel comfortable in your presence, my absolute favorite thing to do is quietly sit or lie right beside you, keeping you company while you read, watch TV, or work.
I am generally not an overly energetic cat throughout the day, preferring a calm and predictable routine. With that said, I still have a fun, playful side! Every now and then, I will get a sudden case of the zoomies around the house, and I truly love climbing, exploring, and playing on my cat tree. Overall, the shelter staff and my foster family agree that I am incredibly well-behaved, gentle, and an absolute delight to have around.
If you are looking for a loyal, quiet friend to share your home with, please make your way to The Lost Dogs' Home in North Melbourne to meet me.
